Pretty but a resource hog

Ive been running this on a Core 2 Duo / 2.66 Ghz and 8 GB of RAM - and it will use 40% - 50% of my system resources. Sure, it is a pretty app, but I do not think the graphical return is worth the slowdown in my system and the incessant whine of cooling fans.

Hope they can get the footprint lower so I can use it while on battery power or when other apps are concurrently running.
